Universal Studios Hollywood is built on the hillside of the Santa Monica Mountains above Burbank, which means the park is split between two elevation levels connected by escalators. Understanding this layout is crucial to an efficient touring strategy.
Upper Lot is where you enter and contains the park's main hub, Springfield U.S.A. (The Simpsons), Minion Land, Hollywood area, and most dining and retail. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Hogsmeade
